Fuzzy extension of interval-based temporal sub-algebras

چکیده
In a previous paper, we have proposed a fuzzy extension of Allen’s Interval Algebra, called IA, which is able to model soft temporal constraints and uncertainty in a unified way. In this paper, we address the problem of finding tractable subalgebras of IA, as it has been done in the classical case. In particular, we show that the fuzzy extensions of classical SAc and SA subalgebras are tractable sub-algebras of IA.

The algebra IAfuz: a framework for qualitative fuzzy temporal reasoning
The aim of this work is to integrate the ideas of flexibility and uncertainty into Allen’s interval-based temporal framework, defining a new formalism, called IA fuz, which extends classical Interval Algebra (IA), in order to express qualitative fuzzy constraints between intervals. We generalize the classical operations between IA-relations to IA fuz-relations, as well as the concepts of minima...
متن کاملINTERVAL-VALUED FUZZY B-ALGEBRAS
In this note the notion of interval-valued fuzzy B-algebras (briefly,i-v fuzzy B-algebras), the level and strong level B-subalgebra is introduced. Then we state and prove some theorems which determine the relationshipbetween these notions and B-subalgebras. The images and inverse images ofi-v fuzzy B-subalgebras are defined, and how the homomorphic images andinverse images of i-v fuzzy B-subalge...
متن کاملSome types of $(in,ivq)$-interval-valued fuzzy ideals of BCI algebras
In this paper, we introduce the notions of interval-valued and $(in,ivq)$-interval-valued fuzzy ($p$-,$q$- and $a$-) ideals of BCI algebras and investigate some of their properties. We then derive characterization theorems for these generalized interval-valued fuzzy ideals and discuss their relationship.
متن کاملConnections between Generalized Fuzzy Ideals and Sub-implicative Ideals of BCI-algebras
The concept of quasi-coincidence of an interval valued fuzzy set is considered. By using this idea, the notion of interval valued (α, β)−fuzzy sub-implicative ideals of BCIalgebras is introduced, which is a generalization of a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal. Also some related properties are studied and in particular, the interval valued (∈,∈ ∨q)−fuzzy subimplicative ideals in a BCI-algebra will be...
متن کاملA note on "An interval type-2 fuzzy extension of the TOPSIS method using alpha cuts"
The technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is a method based on the ideal solutions in which the most desirable alternative should have the shortest distance from positive ideal solution and the longest distance from negative ideal solution. Depending on type of evaluations or method of ranking, different approaches have been proposing to calculate distances ...
